5th Annual girls trip started Thursday evening August 7! Off to Petit Jean Mountain. This trip was similar and different than others. Our first trip was on a camping trip so that was similar, that was also 5 years ago. Things have changed just a bit since then. Some prefer microwaves, some a comfy bed and others just a quiet shower. None of these were present this weekend. The girls included a law school grad (Paige, P.Diddy, Hot Wheat or P), a pregnant woman (Sara), a Denver local (Nickle, Lauren), a walking stick whisperer (Jamie) , an event planning Arkadelphia native (Carrie) and me. It felt like a nice relaxing weekend, when in fact we stayed "busy" with the following: hiking, "swimming", yard darts, horseshoes, bocce ball, scene it (dang my play), phase 10 (twice), spades, cranium, grilling, puppy chow, will & grace, ps. i love you, a little ellen, a question game, apples to apples, pooh waffles and of course...sleep! And Jamie I am sure Ed (the walking stick) will miss you! I know I am missing something, but we really had a great time. Caught up on life, tried to predict the future and got to spend some quality time with girls I love. Doesn't get much better. I love that for a week, weekend or however long we get together, we have a good time doing it. We don't see each other very often, so we've always got a lot to catch up on. I can't wait until next year. I think it's the beach....
