I honestly can't describe the incredible feeling of being a mom to the most wonderful little boy! I thought I would be one of those people that would have kids, love them, but not be uber attached. BOY was I wrong! I am not saying that I am obsessed with my kid or anything, but I just think he is the best thing ever. Not better than my awesome husband, who helped me have this wonderful child, but man, lately, I just can't squeeze him enough. Sawyer has definitely been busy. He has FOUR teeth! Yes ma'am, I said it, FOUR!! He rolls to wherever he needs to go and just "talks" up a storm! I am a terrible mother for not ever getting it on video, but hopefully I can change that. He is 7 months old and weighs in at almost 18 lbs. Geez, where has the time gone? Even though each step in his life just gets better, I think if he stayed in this phase just a little longer than usual, I'd be alright. This past Sunday, Mother's Day, Sawyer was dedicated at Fellowship. Not only was it a fantastic service (thank you Mark Henry), but it was such a special day for both Sawyer and I.
And thanks to all the family and friends who came to the service. And bravo to Amanda for getting the kids to the nursery and to the service on time!! That in itself was a huge accomplishment.
(4 generations: Mom, me, Sawyer, Kellan, Mamaw, Amanda and Eva)
We were also able to share the special day with Avery Jane, Zach and Anna's precious little thing. So it was just a good day all around. Lots of mommas and lots of love was had by all. Thanks Sawyer for making this mother's day a very special one for me.
(All the Dennis sisters with babies: Melissa with Merrick, Ashley with Brooklyn and August, me with Sawyer, and Anna with Avery)
